Applications or special features

1. Oversized Cargo:
Flat rack containers are commonly used for transporting oversized or irregularly shaped cargo, such as large machinery, heavy equipment, or vehicles. The absence of side walls and roof allows for easy loading and securing of bulky items.

2. Heavy or High Load Capacity:
Flat rack containers are designed to handle heavy loads or items with high point loads. The corner posts and sturdy floor structure provide stability and support, making them suitable for transporting heavy machinery, steel structures, or construction materials.

3. Project Cargo:
Flat rack containers are often used for project cargo shipments, such as transporting wind turbine components, oil and gas equipment, or industrial machinery. Their open design allows for flexible loading options and secure lashing to ensure safe transportation.

4. Freight Consolidation:
Flat rack containers are utilized for consolidating multiple smaller cargo items into a single shipment. This helps optimize space and maximize efficiency in the transport process, particularly for irregularly shaped or oversized items that cannot fit in standard containers.

Please note that proper loading and securing procedures should be followed to ensure the safe transportation of cargo using flat rack containers.

The following are the detailed steps of the 20GP container production process

1. Material preparation:

According to the design drawings, prepare the required steel, including profiles and plates of various specifications.

The steel needs to be cut, bent and processed to meet the size and shape requirements of the container frame and panel.

2. Frame welding:

Use automatic welding equipment or manual welding to weld the cut steel into the frame structure of the container.

The frame includes the top frame, bottom frame and side frame, and the stability and accuracy of the structure need to be ensured.

3. Panel installation:

Weld or rivet the prepared steel plates to the frame to form the side walls, end walls and top plates of the container.

The plates need to be tightly connected to ensure the sealing and strength of the container.

4. Bottom installation:

Install the bottom frame and panel of the container to the container.

The bottom needs to bear the weight of the container and the cargo, so it needs to be specially strengthened.

5. Top installation:

Install the top frame and panel of the container to the container.

The top needs to be able to withstand the influence of natural environment such as rain and sunshine, so it needs to be waterproofed.

6. Door installation:

Install the container's door, including door frames, door panels, hinges and locks.

The door needs to be easy to open and close and close tightly to ensure the safety of the goods.

7. Painting:

The surface of the container is rust-removed, polished, and then painted.

Painting can prevent corrosion and rust and extend the service life of the container.

8. Inspection:

Inspect the container in terms of size, strength, sealing, and paint quality in accordance with international standards.

Only containers that pass the inspection can be put into use.
