Color-coated coils are based on hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip galvanized sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, etc. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or several layers of organic coatings are applied on the surface, and then A product that has been cured by baking. It is named after the color steel coils coated with organic coatings of various colors, referred to as color coated coils.
Coating Structure Types:
2/1: Two coats on the top surface, one coat on the bottom surface, baked twice.
2/1M: Two coats on both the top and bottom surfaces, baked once.
2/2: Two coats on both the top and bottom surfaces, baked twice.
Applications of Different Coating Structures:
2/1: Single-layer back coating has poor corrosion resistance and scratch resistance, but good adhesion; mainly used in sandwich panels.
2/1M: Back coating has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and processability, with good adhesion; suitable for single-layer profiled sheets and sandwich panels.
2/2: Double-layer back coating has good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and processability; mostly used in single-layer profiled sheets, but its adhesion is poor, making it unsuitable for sandwich panels.

Advantages of various coatings on color-coated coils
Polyester (PE) – This is based on polyether. Products with this coating are resistant to high air temperature and corrosion; have good colour stability, plasticity and longevity; and are available in different colours at a good price. They are used in roofing and wall structures, particularly for multi-storey residential and industrial buildings in different climates.
Polyester matt (PEMA) – This is based on polyether, but has a smooth and matte surface with micro-roughness. Such material has a longer life than PE, as well as excellent colour stability and mechanical resistance. Such steel keeps its properties in any climate and can imitate natural materials.
PVDF – This consists of polyvinyl fluoride (80%) and acryl (20%) and has the highest resistance to any non-mechanical environmental exposure. PVDF is used for wall cladding and roofing; offers excellent resistance to water, snow, acids and alkali; and does not fade over time.
Plastisol (PVC) – This polymer consists of polyvinyl chloride and plasticisers. Its rather thick coating (0.2 mm) offers good mechanical and weather resistance, but relatively poor heat resistance and colour stability.
Polyurethane (PU) – This coating is made of polyurethane modified with polyamide and acryl. It has improved resistance to ultraviolet radiation and weather exposure, high strength and longevity. Polyurethane is highly resistant to many acids and chemicals typical in an industrial environment.

The production process of color-coated steel.
1. Steel Substrate Preparation: Remove dirt, rust, and other impurities from the steel surface through degreasing and chemical methods.
2. Surface Treatment: Apply a chemical conversion coating.
3. Primer: Apply a primer coat to the treated steel surface.
4. Painting: After pretreatment and initial coating of the steel surface, apply an organic paint.
5. Curing: Baking and curing to ensure the paint adheres firmly to the steel surface.
