Steel Structure Profiles

Structural profiles are load-bearing elements made from steel or other metal materials, available in various shapes and sizes. In the construction industry, they are primarily used in steel constructions, building frameworks, and roofing systems, enhancing the overall strength of projects.

Types of Structural Profiles

The most commonly used structural profiles in the construction industry include:

C Profile

Used in light steel structures, load-bearing systems, and wall frameworks.

C+ Profile

A reinforced version of the C profile, offering a higher load-bearing capacity.

Sigma Profile:

Preferred in high-strength structures, particularly large-span steel constructions.

Sigma+ Profile

An improved version of the Sigma profile, providing greater load capacity and durability.

U Profile

Used as a load-bearing element in roofing and wall systems.

Z Profile

Commonly used in roof purlins and horizontal supports.

Omega Profile

Utilized in light steel structures, especially in wall systems.

Applications of Structural Profiles in the Construction Industry

Structural profiles are widely used in the construction industry due to their numerous advantages. Here are some key application areas:

01

Steel Constructions

Used in factory buildings, warehouses, sports halls, and large-span structures.

02

Building Frameworks

Essential for modern buildings due to their high strength.

03

Roofing Systems

Lightweight and durable, making them ideal for roof purlins and load-bearing systems.

04

Prefabricated Structures

The primary load-bearing element in prefabricated buildings due to its quick assembly and durability.

Steel Profile Production Technologies

Laser Welding
This technology, often referred to as laser fusion, is our most popular and efficient production method. It offers nearly limitless capabilities and design options. We routinely produce standard stainless steel structural shapes and both steel and stainless steel sharp cornered custom profiles by this method.

Hot Rolling
Our hot rolled product offerings are available in alloy, steel and stainless steels.

Hot Extrusion
This process allows for high design flexibility without sacrificing structural integrity. Steel profiles with complex shapes and geometries are produced by this extrusion method.

Cold Drawing
This process is a precision reduction of cross sections of wire rod or pre-rolled profiles through a series of dies to produce the desired shapes. These are generally very small sections with tight tolerance requirements.

Cold Rolling
Cold rolling is a process where profiles are produced by forming wire rod by a continuous rolling process at ambient temperatures. These are generally small sections with tighter tolerances.

Standard and Custom Steel Profiles

We truly mean custom, by offering the following:

Custom lengths and holes and slots in standard shapes

Custom configurations and geometries

Custom lengths up to 45 feet

Custom alloys in carbon and stainless steel

Very small minimum order quantities (as low as 1 piece)

Ability to combine different alloys in a single profile

Fabrication processes such as saw cutting, laser cut holes/slots, & machining

Special surface finishes
