7075 Aluminum Coil

7075 aluminum coil is an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu super-hard aluminum alloy (GB/T 3190, ASTM B209), containing 5.6% Zn, 2.5% Mg and 1.6% Cu. After T6 aging treatment, it has ultra-high strength (tensile strength ≥ 560MPa) and hardness (HB ≥ 150). This material has outstanding aviation-grade performance, but weak corrosion resistance, and requires aluminum cladding or anodizing protection. It is suitable for extreme load-bearing scenarios such as aircraft skins, missile structural parts, and high-end molds. It is a core material in the military and aerospace fields. Pay attention to the tendency of stress cracking during processing, and it is recommended to strengthen by aging after solid solution (O) forming.

Due to its ultra-high strength (T6 tensile strength ≥560MPa) and excellent specific strength, 7075 aluminum coil is mainly used in:

1. Aerospace: aircraft skin, missile shell, satellite structural parts and other key load-bearing parts;

2. Military equipment: armored vehicle protective plate, firearms parts, etc.;

3. High-end molds: precision injection molds, stamping molds, etc.;

4. Racing: F1 suspension parts, lightweight body structure;

5. Precision machinery: high-load bearing seats, hydraulic cylinders, etc.

It needs to cooperate with anodizing or aluminum coating process to improve corrosion resistance, and is the preferred material for extreme mechanical environments.

7075 aluminum coils are packaged in professional industrial packaging to ensure moisture and collision protection during transportation and storage. Standard packaging includes an inner layer of anti-rust paper or PE film wrapped, and an outer layer of high-strength steel belts or wooden boxes to prevent the coils from deformation or scratches. 7075 aluminum coils are mainly supplied in T6 state (solution heat treatment + artificial aging), providing ultra-high strength and excellent mechanical properties, suitable for high-strength applications such as aerospace and military. Through precision temperature-controlled rolling and aging strengthening processes, the material is ensured to have stable tensile strength (≥560MPa) and hardness. We support customized processing, such as pre-stretching treatment (T651 state) to reduce internal stress and improve dimensional stability for subsequent CNC processing or welding.

7075 aluminum coils can be subjected to a variety of surface treatments to enhance performance, including hard anodizing (forming a highly wear-resistant oxide film), chemical nickel plating (improving corrosion resistance and conductivity) and sandblasting oxidation (improving appearance and increasing coating adhesion). For special needs, **conductive oxidation or Teflon coating can also be provided to meet the stringent requirements of the electronics, automotive and other industries on material surface properties.
