1060 Aluminum Rod

1060 aluminum bar is a straight bar material made of high-purity aluminum (aluminum content exceeds 99.6%), which is favored for its good machinability, corrosion resistance and low density. It is suitable for mechanical parts that do not require high strength, electronic equipment components, mold manufacturing, and daily necessities production. It is a common material in light industry and manufacturing because it is easy to cut, drill and machine.

Heat treatment range: Rapid annealing: heating temperature 350 ~ 410 ℃; depending on the effective thickness of the material, the holding time is between 30 ~ 120min; air or water cooling. High temperature annealing: heating temperature 350 ~ 500 ℃; when the finished product thickness is ≥ 6mm, the holding time is 10 ~ 30min, when < 6mm, heat through; air cooling. Low temperature annealing: heating temperature 150 ~ 250 ℃; holding time is 2 ~ 3h; air or water cooling.

Our factory currently has 6 semi-continuous casting production lines and 44 other large-scale processing equipment, with an annual production capacity of 1.4 million tons. At present, the factory can produce 8 series of aluminum alloys, including 1 series, 2 series, 3 series, 4 series, 5 series, 6 series, 7 series, and 8 series. The main products are 1060 aluminum plate, 3003 aluminum plate, 3104 aluminum plate, 5052 aluminum plate, 5083 aluminum plate, 5182 aluminum plate, 6061 aluminum plate, 7075 aluminum plate, 2A12 aluminum plate, etc. The products are widely used in various fields such as automobiles, molds, ships, packaging containers, architectural decoration, electronic communications, petrochemicals, printing plate making, etc.

Aluminum bar quotation is usually based on the following core factors and is calculated by formula:

1. Base price composition

Aluminum ingot spot price: based on Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Network (SMM) or LME aluminum price of the day (such as: A00 aluminum ingot price + processing fee);

Processing fee: adjusted according to alloy grade (such as 1070/6061), specification (diameter/length), state (O/H112, etc.), usually 500-3000 yuan/ton.

2. Floating adjustment items

Order volume: large orders (>20 tons) enjoy 2%-5% discount;

Surface treatment: anodizing/spraying and other processes are charged 800-2000 yuan/ton;

Tolerance requirements: high precision (such as ±0.05mm) is increased by 10%-15%.

3. Other terms

Payment method: cash is 1%-3% lower than the acceptance price (interest subsidy cost);

Logistics costs: domestic freight is calculated at 200-500 yuan/ton, and export needs to add sea freight/tariff.

Example quotation:

1070 aluminum bar (Φ50mm, O state) = SMM aluminum ingot price 16,000 yuan/ton + processing fee 1,200 yuan/ton + surface treatment fee (optional).

Note: The actual quotation needs to be combined with real-time aluminum price fluctuations, customer cooperation level and regional market supply and demand adjustments, and supports price lock agreements (deposit required).
