Galvalume Corrugated Sheet

Galvalume Corrugated Sheet is a building material with a steel plate as the base material and a layer of aluminum-zinc alloy coated on the surface. It is made of cold-rolled steel and coated with a coating consisting of 55% aluminum, 43.3% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. It is also known as galvalume steel. Galvalume steel is more durable and long-lasting than galvanized steel and is a common material for outdoor roofing or siding, chimney breasts, color-coated steel substrates, etc.

1. Corrosion resistance: aluminum zinc plate has strong corrosion resistance, and its normal service life can reach 25 years, which is 3-6 times longer than galvanized plate and is comparable to stainless steel.

2. Heat resistance: aluminum zinc plate has a high heat reflectivity and is suitable as a roof material. The aluminum zinc alloy steel plate itself has excellent heat resistance and can be used in high temperature environments up to 315 degrees.

3. Re-coatability: (paint film adhesion) Alu-zinc plate can maintain excellent adhesion with the paint film, and can be directly sprayed or powder-coated without special pre-treatment.

4. Corrosion resistance after painting: After the galvanized plate itself is partially painted and baked, the corrosion resistance of the unpainted part is slightly reduced. The performance is much better than electroplated color zinc, electroplated galvanized plate and hot-dip galvanized plate.

5. Processability: (shearing, stamping, spot welding, seam welding) Alu-zinc plate has excellent processing performance, can be stamped, sheared, welded, etc., and the coating has good adhesion and impact resistance.

6. Conductivity: The surface of the galvanized plate is treated with special wax coating to meet the needs of electromagnetic shielding.
