Comparison of appearance features
Cold-rolled steel plate: The surface has a uniform silver-gray metallic luster, no coating, the side section is silver-white (prone to rust after cutting), medium reflectivity, smooth to the touch but without an oily feeling.
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet: The surface of galvanized steel with patterns shows snowflaked-like zinc flowers (diameter 1-5mm), while the surface of galvanized steel without patterns is dark silver-white, with a distinct zinc layer (bluish-gray) visible on the side sections. It feels slightly rough to the touch, and some products have anti-rust oil on the surface.
Electro-galvanized steel sheet: The surface is bright silver-white, without zinc flowers, with high reflectivity. The zinc layer on the side sections is extremely thin (almost invisible), and some parts show a light yellow color after passivation treatment (chromate passivation).
