6061 aluminum tube is an Al-Mg-Si series heat-treatable strengthened aluminum alloy tube that meets GB/T 6893 standard. The tensile strength under T6 heat treatment is ≥310MPa and the elongation is ≥10%. It has excellent comprehensive performance. The material shows excellent structural stability in the range of -196℃ to 150℃, and the fluctuation of mechanical properties is less than 5%. Its outstanding stress corrosion threshold is 3 times higher than that of 7 series aluminum alloy, and it has excellent environmental cracking resistance. 6061 aluminum tube has excellent processing performance, the turning surface roughness can reach Ra0.8μm, the strength retention rate of MIG welded joints is ≥85% and there is no tendency to thermal cracking. A 25μm thick oxide film can be obtained by anodizing treatment, and the salt spray resistance after sealing is ≥1000 hours. It is mainly used in hydraulic systems, aviation ducts, racing roll cages and other fields with high strength-to-weight ratio requirements. Compared with 3003 aluminum tubes, the strength is increased by 50%, and it has better corrosion resistance and lower processing cost than 7075 aluminum tubes.

Military-grade packaging and transportation solutions

 

6061 aluminum tubes use **three-layer protective packaging: inner layer of anti-rust oil paper + middle layer of bubble buffer film + outer layer of steel belt reinforced wooden box (IPPC certified). PVC sheath is added to the tube end, packaged in bundles (≤800kg/bundle) and marked with a unique traceability code. Sea transportation is equipped with special container brackets, air transportation complies with IATA standards, and supports DDP/DAP terms. It arrives at major ports around the world in 18 days, with an annual export volume of more than 15,000 tons and a breakage rate of <0.05%.

 

Professional state and processing technology

 

Provide three states: T6 (peak hardness), T6511 (stress relief), and O state (complete annealing).

- Precision cold drawing: outer diameter tolerance ±0.05mm, inner wall roughness Ra0.8μm

- Deep hole drilling: aspect ratio up to 30:1, straightness ≤0.1mm/m

- Surface treatment: hard anodizing (film thickness 50μm), micro-arc oxidation (hardness HV1200)

- Special welding: laser welding (weld strength ≥ 90% of parent material)

 

Aviation-grade production capacity

 

Equipped with 5000-ton extruder (German SMS) and CNC rotary forging machine, with an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons, covering the full range of specifications from 8 to 250mm outer diameter. Testing equipment includes:

- Industrial CT (defect detection accuracy 0.02mm)

- High-frequency fatigue testing machine (simulation of 10⁷ cycles of load)

- Three-dimensional coordinate measuring machine (accuracy 0.001mm)

Support AS9100D aviation certification production, and the delivery cycle is shortened to 7 days.
