7075 Aluminum Tube

7075 aluminum tube is an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu super-hard aluminum alloy (GB/T 4437), containing 5.6% Zn, 2.5% Mg and 1.6% Cu, with a tensile strength of ≥560MPa in T6 state and a hardness of HB≥150. It has the highest specific strength among commercial aluminum alloys. Its characteristics include: ultra-high load-bearing capacity, excellent fatigue strength, but weak corrosion resistance (aluminum coating or anodizing protection is required). It is specially used in extreme load-bearing scenarios such as aviation landing gear, missile shells, and racing car drive shafts. During processing, attention should be paid to the tendency of stress cracking. It is recommended to strengthen the solid solution state (O) after forming by aging.

(Compared with 6061 aluminum tube: strength is increased by 80%, but ductility and corrosion resistance are reduced)

7075 aluminum tube is mainly used in extreme mechanical environments due to its ultra-high strength (T6 tensile strength ≥560MPa) and excellent specific strength:

1. Aerospace: aircraft landing gear, missile propulsion cabin, satellite load-bearing frame;

2. Military equipment: armored vehicle drive shaft, gun buffer tube;

3. High-end vehicles: racing drive shaft, high-performance bicycle frame;

4. Precision machinery: hydraulic servo cylinder, high-load bearing sleeve.

It needs to be combined with micro-arc oxidation or composite coating to improve corrosion resistance. It is a cutting-edge pipe material that replaces steel to achieve lightweight.

Foam plastic or bubble film: used for the inner layer protection of fragile or delicate aluminum tubes to reduce collision damage.

Wooden boxes or pallets: for long-sized or large-volume aluminum tubes, use wooden boxes or custom pallets to fix them and enhance overall stability.

Processing fee: The processing fee covers all costs in the process of converting aluminum ingots to aluminum coils, including smelting, casting, rolling, shearing and other processes. The processing fee will vary depending on the processing difficulty and precision requirements.
